White Ribbon Day – Timeline
AHG and its 3,500 employees are proud supporters of the White Ribbon Campaign, and are committed advocates for change in Australia. Violence against women is never acceptable, and must never be accepted or ignored.
We’ve been involved with White Ribbon Day since 2009. Below is a timeline summarising that involvement.
2009

May: Introduction to the White Ribbon Foundation

July: AHG came on board as the platinum sponsor for the White Ribbon Gala Dinner

September: Donated major car valued at $29,999

November: Donation drive & support for White Ribbon Day valued at $51,220
2010

May: Donation drive valued at $41,000

June: ‘I Swear’ campaign; held at each of the dealerships so employees, customers and the families of both could take the White Ribbon Oath. Over 200 signatures were received.

September: Platinum sponsor of the 2010 White Ribbon Gala Dinner, a Brand New Nissan Dualis was donated, helping White Ribbon raise over $121,000.

November: White Ribbon Day 25th Nov – White Ribbon displays at each dealership to help promote the day, allowing employees, customers and families to once again take their oaths
