
Lansvale Holden - or, as we were known back then, John Abraham’s Holden - first opened its doors in 1991. We were a small dealer with a desire to do things differently: To sell new and used cars without selling our souls!
We decided the best way to do that was to stock the best cars, to know all there was to know about them, and to let them sell themselves. Then, as now, we wanted your repeat business. We wanted our customers to come back for vehicle servicing, parts, accessories, aftercare, fleet, and ultimately your next car, and the one after that, and so on. And we knew we’d struggle to win their loyalty if we turned out to be just like every other car dealer out there.
So from day one, we made it our dealer policy that there’d be no high-pressure sales, no sleazy salesmen, and no games. And it’s a policy we adhere to, to this day. We listen more than we talk, and we recommend only vehicles that are actually suited to your needs and budget.
Of course, a lot else has changed in the last 2 decades. In 1996, we changed our name to Lansvale Holden. In 2005, we demolished our old dealership, and replaced it with a state-of-the-art dealer showroom and service facility. In 2007, we became part of AHG, Australia’s largest motoring group. And today, we employ around 50 staff - all experts in what they do.
