The last couple of months have been exciting and the hype over the Nissan Navara ST-X 550 is not over!
In 2011 - with the release of the ST-X 550 - the Nissan Navara will become a very different beast.
The biggest change? It’s ditched the old VQ series engine, and thrown in something a lot more exciting: a Renault-sourced 3.0-litre turbo diesel V6. The new engine boasts V8-rivalling torque (170kW of power and 550Nm of torque), and nothing in its class will match its output.
Coupled with a 7-speed auto transmission, it’s still nicely fuel-efficient, consuming just 9.5 litres per 100km.
Some other cool features of the 2011 Navara include tub liner, a hard tonneau cover with remote central locking, smoked bonnet protector, front fog lights, headlamp washers, privacy glass, blacked out sports bars and roof racks.
The 2011 Nissan Navara ST-X 550 is due for launch in January/February 2011.
